Yutong is a group with bus & coach manufacturing as the main business, engineering machinery and real estate as the strategic business, while also engaging in other inverstment activities.

In 2007 sales of Yutong exceeded 12.5 billion Yuan (Notice put Euros instead) including that of the bus & coach semment of over 8.8 billion Yan. It sold over 25.500 large and medium-sized buses in which 3319 buses where exported, thus ranking Yutong as No. 1 in bus& coach industry in China. Yutong was granded the title of ´´The Best Marketing Campaign of the year BAVV Awards 2006´´and concurrently won the title of ´´Coach Builder of the Year BAAV Awards ‘’ in Bus World Asia 2002, 2005 and 2006.

Yutong insustial park, one of the largest bus & coach manufaturing base covering a land are of 1.000.000 m2, is epuipped with several production lines of componets, chassis, weling, painting and assembly and one production line for top-class buses is equivalent to the European standard. The production capability of our manufacturing base is 100 units of complete buses per day.

Yutong owns state-level technical center of Vhina, which is dedicated to systematically researching and developing bus manufacturing technologies to improve bus performance.

As the owner of the only state-level tchnical center in the bus & coach indurstry of China, Yutong invest 4% of its annual sales to technology research and acquired more than one hundred technical patents up to now. At present the scientific research innowations achieved by Yutong technical center are widely applied to its buses so as to bring macimezed operation profits to its global customers.

Yutong has established strategic partnerships with many world-famous manufactureres of bus and components to introduce and apply advanced technologoies to its products.

Yutong together with MAN Commercial Vehicle Group, has set up a joint venture, Lions Bus CO. Ltd to make further cooperation in R&D of chassis, complete bus manufacturing and enterprise management, to ensure its products meets international standards.

Yutong is cooperating with CUMMINGS, one of the best engine manufacturers, to carry out the engine collocation and loading test to simulthanesously enhange the power performance and fuel economy of the bus.

Through the technical communication with WABCO of Germany, the expert supplier of bus control system, Yutong has attained many top-grade tchnologies which enhance the safety and reliability of its products.
