Yutong Eurobus will in early year 2011 open a new spare parts center for the whole of Europe in Kiel in Germany. Germany is a good location because from there it is easy to send spare parts within 24 hours to all countries in Europe so that we can service the all-around Europe service net of Yutong Eurobus .

Iceland

In Iceland the company has testing and developing base in cooperation with Tyrfingsson ehf, which is an agent for Yutong Eurobus in Iceland. The conditions in Iceland are very good when it comes to testing and developing as the weather changes all the time and road conditions are very challanging. As challanging country as Iceland is difficult to find and that is the reason why the base is in Iceland.  One year in Iceland can be similar like a 5 or 7 years in normal high ways in Europe.

Actually we can state that Yutong Eurobus bonds the biggest and the smallest coach factories in the world today as G.Tyrfingsson ehf and later its daughter company Tyrfingsson ehf have since 1969 built coaches in Iceland. Since then the company has built one produt type each year and its coaches have been specially built for Icelandic and often very difficult conditions.

Yutong has for years been leading in coach building in Asia and yearly they build over 20.000 coaches. Yutong has received several rewards as well as beeing the leading company in exporting coaches from China to different countries and now finally Eutong Eurobus has started its opporation, giving the bus buyers of Europe the possibility of getting high class busses at economical prices.

The first coaches have already reached Iceland as it is the ideal testing country for the European market. Difficult conditions and the changing temperature, makes the country an ideal challange for Yutong Eurobus coaches.

Yutong Eurobus is in cooperation with G.Tyrfingsson ehf in Iceland. G. Tyrfingsson Ltd. is a family owned and managed business. The company was founded in 1969, and is one of the pioneers and leaders in the travel services in Iceland since it started operation. Its daughter company Tyrfingsson ehf has for years built coaches in Iceland. So far the company has mainly built Mercedes Benz coaches and therfor it was a pleasure to announce that G.Tyrfingsson is going to change to Yutong Eurobus coaches.
